I had the idea for this painting when I was half asleep one morning. I saw white birch trees on a hazy background. I really like how this turned out. Props to Brent for the idea of expanding the trees across the canvas.
I'd like to do more of this type of painting and experiment with different color backgrounds.

i think it's 'birch' tree. when you add the 't' some other word comes to mind......anyways, about the painting, very pretty and contemporary.

so what was your original idea, then? if you said brent thought of putting more trees? were you thinking of only a couple?
oh, yeah, and i like the profile pic too, very artsy and serious. it kinda looks like it's from the sixties.
